Humans

Picture
Humans are the most varied race in this world.  A human character has two aspects to her identity - the genetic and the cultural.  The genetic will determine not only what your character looks like, but will also indicate what talents you have and possibly how other people will react to you.  The cultural aspect determines how you were raised, how you act, beliefs, possible skills, and how other people will react to your character. It is most closely tied to your homeland.  As a result, this area is divided into two sections: genetic and cultural.  Both sections are divided into brief overviews of all the groups on one page and then in-depth treatments with each group having its own page.
Note: Prealith is a vibrant long-distance trading center where many different groups of people have met over vast periods of time.  In the countryside, the frontiers, and the hinterland it is possible to find groups of 'pure' or 'nearly pure' genetic heritage from one group or another - even ones that came to Prealith's shores centuries or even thousands of years ago....
