Bard - Low, Minstrel, Gleeman

Low bards are also known as minstrels or gleemen. They are the entertainers of the 'common people'. Masters of people watching and relating to them, bards depend on their wits, quick tongues, and their entertainment talents. When these talents are not enough, a low-bard is also a capable fighter and talented at slipping out of town before trouble catches up to him.
Low bards do not belong to any known organization. They venture from place to place plying their trade and searching for new adventures and other diversions. It is believed that those bards who are of predominately Wanderer heritage owe allegiance to some sort of organization; but, such obligations could just as easily be family ties. It is known that bards of Wanderer heritage do meet twice a year and have a grand festival; however, this event is part of the larger meeting of Wanderers which occurs at the same time. Less common rumours have all sorts of organizations that low bards supposedly belong to - however, these tales are most likely the sour grapes of jilted lovers.... Bards do meet and exchange tales and songs, but this is an informal arrangement...
